






It is understood that from September 5 to September 11, 2025, the SMM weekly comprehensive operating rate of lead-acid battery enterprises in five provinces was 72.14%, basically stable WoW.
Recently, consumption in the lead-acid battery market has been uneven, with overall demand changing relatively small. By type, ESS battery enterprises had relatively stable orders, but there were also fluctuations in a few export orders. The e-bike lead-acid battery market is in the traditional peak season, and with the implementation of the new national standard for e-bikes, orders for complete vehicle support were stable with a slight increase, while the battery replacement market performed unevenly, so only a few enterprises could achieve full production. The automotive lead-acid battery market performed weakly, with dealers' battery inventory digesting slowly. Coupled with the impact of tariffs on battery export orders, the operating rate of some producers dropped to 50-60%, or even possibly below 50%. Additionally, with only half a month left until the Mid-Autumn Festival and National Day holidays, attention is being paid to the subsequent stockpiling actions of downstream enterprises before the holidays.
